Mr. FELIX Anthony Opiyo is a results-driven and compassionate project person with 7 years of experience implementing projects in human rights, child protection, youth engagement, GBV prevention, and cash and voucher assistance programming. Skilled in program design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Felix has a proven track record of successfully managing projects, building partnerships, and promoting inclusive and sustainable development, with a strong commitment to upholding human rights and social justice.

Before joining RFPJ in March 2024, Felix worked with Community Voice Against Poverty (COVAP-Uganda) as a Program Officer in Northern Uganda, and served in various capacities at Plan International Uganda, where he supported the implementation of programs for South Sudanese Refugee Response in the West Nile Sub-Region. Among other roles at Plan international, Felix served as a Community Support Worker; Child Protection in Emergency Officer; Case Management and Information Management System Supervisor; Project Officer (Youth Engagement); Consultancy Child Protection in Emergency Coordinator; Consultancy Project Officer (Livelihood and SRHR); and Project Officer (Child Protection) during the 2023 Bududa Mud slide Response where he handled the Cash and voucher Assistance program for the Ireland Aid Project.

Felix holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation from Uganda Management Institute, a Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies from Gulu University, and other certified courses in Gender Transformative Programming, Safeguarding Young People and Children Policy, and security training for field staff in Emergency. Felix brings to RFPJ a rich experience in human rights advocacy and is currently heading the organisation’s human rights office in northern Uganda.
