Targeting Uganda’s ethnically plural and fragile region of Rwenzori, RFPJ promotes the respect for social and cultural rights for all, and fosters citizens’ adoption of non-violent practices in resolving intra- and inter-ethnic conflicts. In so doing, RFPJ harnesses intra- and inter-ethnic reconciliation, dialogue and trust, and bolsters the participation and representation of minority ethnic groups, including women and youth from different cultural groupings, in fostering social cohesion, peaceful coexistence, and inclusive development.
