Ms. ELIZABETH Atuhaire is a Social Worker with over 7 years meaningful experience in advocating for positive change, promoting social well-being and social justice in communities. While at RFPJ, she has been pivotal in OVC programming and institutional response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the Rwenzori region, focused on ensuring positive adherence, suppression and retention of OVCs on Antiretroviral Therapy (ART). Before joining RFPJ in 2018, Elizabeth worked with Virika Hospital as an Intensive Adherence Counselor for children under HIV/AIDS clinic. While at RFPJ, she has risen from a Linkage and Referral Supervisor to a Human Rights Officer. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Adult and Community Education from Makeere University.
